fertilizer. The Spritzwiz™ intermittent sprinkling system
will provide the water your plants need and speed up the conversion
from mulch to compost as your garden continues to grow.
Seed Germination in Sand
or Soil: The SpritzWiz™ intermittent sprinkling
system provides continuous moisture without overwatering so your
seeds can fully sprout without transplanting in just about any
medium you choose, sand or soil.
Outdoor Hydroponics:
The SpritzWiz™ can easily grow plants outdoors in just about
any medium. For growing in sand begin with a sand bed at least
12 inches deep. Throw in some slow release fertilizer and work
it into the top 1-3 inches of sand. The SpritzWiz™ can then
apply water at a slow rate so the water won't leach down to the
subsoil. Growing in sand has many advantages over soil. It provides
more aeration and more efficient water assimilation to the roots.
Sand also forms a natural barrier against plant pests and diseases,
and makes the task of weeding a whole lot easier too! Ask for
washed coarse river sand. It works best for general all purpose
gardening.
Transplanting:
Intermittent sprinkling will increase survival rates for plants.
It can eliminate water stress and over watering during the critical
period when transplants are being established.
Sprinklers and Drip: The SpritzWiz™ includes an impulse sprinkler head that
can provide adjustable 0-360° coverage. Or it can be fitted
with a manifold to run several spray jets or drip lines at ultra-low
flow rates.
Cooling: The SpritzWiz™ can run several spray jets or micro-sprinklers
intermittently to provide refreshing evaporative cooling for personal
comfort. It can also reduce heat stress for plants and animals
and increase food production.
